Let’s take it back to August 30, 2013. Mom-to-be and repeat 4imprint customer, Stephanie, had recently entered full-term status on what was described as a “pretty boring” pregnancy. She was eagerly awaiting the arrival of son, Huntington. A name she and her husband had picked out as soon as the gender was known—Huntington, West Virginia, has always held a special place in their hearts.
Stephanie was at work, getting ready to open her freshly delivered 4imprint Blue Box. As her co-workers gathered around to eye up any of the cooler samples, the items—each labeled with its product name—were claimed one by one and dispersed. Stephanie started to put the scavenged box in the trash and the 4imprint catalogs into a desk drawer. That’s when it happened.
Something flew out from the stack of catalogs in her hand. It was a purple pen from 4imprint. But not just ANY pen. The name Huntington was clearly printed on the barrel. Twelve hours later, Stephanie was in labor and healthy baby Huntington made his grand entrance into the world that day.
Stephanie shared, “I can’t adequately describe how freaky that whole Huntington pen thing was. The girls I worked with nearly dropped dead! The next morning I texted them from the hospital. They thought I was joking!”
When we saw Stephanie had reposted her original blog for #flashbackfriday on the eve of Huntington’s 5th birthday this year, we knew we had to do something special. So, our social media manager sent a surprise box of sweet promotional swag, including lots of Huntington pens, to help celebrate Huntington’s first day of kindergarten.
Thank you to Stephanie and family for sharing this wonderful story with us. We hoped you enjoyed the products. Here’s to many more successful first days of school!
