4imprint® Named Great Place to Work® for 7th Consecutive Year
(OSHKOSH, Wis.)— Promotional products retailer 4imprint, Inc., has been named to the Great Place to Work® Best Small & Medium Workplaces list for the seventh consecutive year. The Oshkosh, Wis.-based company ranks 10th of 25 on the 2014 list of best medium-sized places to work in the United States. Results are published on the FORTUNE® website today and in FORTUNE’s October 6th issue, which hits newsstands on Monday.
The Great Place to Work Institute® recognizes companies for developing workplace cultures where employees are valued. The in-depth review process includes an anonymous employee survey and a detailed application from each company, highlighting policies, practices and stories that showcase each company’s philosophy and approach. Companies with cultures emphasizing credibility, respect, fairness, pride and camaraderie top the list.
While visible benefits like casual dress, holiday celebrations and all-team smoothies to celebrate work anniversaries might appear to be 4imprint’s key differentiators, it’s the values that drive those practices that are recognized through the Great Place to Work honors. Judges point to employee survey responses that show company values of honesty, curiosity, collaboration, flexibility, accountability, empathy, positive attitude and humility are used with customers, employees and vendor partners.
“Our team members know, first and foremost, that our goal is to do right by others and they work hard to live out that approach each and every day,” said Kevin Lyons-Tarr, CEO, 4imprint. “It is humbling to work with a team so committed to building a remarkable workplace.”
4imprint was first named to Great Place to Work Medium Workplaces list in 2008 and has been included on the list every year since. The promotional products company is one of 25 Medium Companies (251-999 employees) to be named to the list. Twenty-five small companies (50-250 employees) are also being honored.
Great Place to Work Institute research finds organizations named to the list see many benefits, including better financial performance, lower employee turnover, higher levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty, increased innovation and creativity, greater productivity and enhanced public perception.
