(Oshkosh, Wis.) – DAV (Disabled American Veterans) has recognized Oshkosh-based promotional products retailer 4imprint as a DAV Patriot Employer. The program recognizes businesses whose job opportunities for disabled veterans, hiring practices and community outreach demonstrate a commitment to veterans obtaining suitable employment to care for themselves and their family.
“DAV is pleased to recognize 4imprint for their commitment to leading by example when it comes to veteran hiring,” said DAV National Commander Andy Marshall. “Veterans bring so much talent to the table for employers and we hope many other companies follow their lead in understanding the value our nation’s heroes offer.”
Criteria for evaluation include veteran recruiting and hiring efforts, policies towards disabled veteran employment, retention and career-building efforts, active-duty and veteran staff members and outreach initiatives in the community where 4imprint operates.
“It’s humbling to be recognized by DAV,” said Kevin Lyons-Tarr, CEO, 4imprint. “Veterans have done so much to preserve our nation’s safety and freedom, and it’s an honor to have them and their skills as part of our organization.”

About DAV
DAV empowers veterans to lead high-quality lives with respect and dignity. It is dedicated to a single purpose: keeping our promise to America’s veterans. DAV does this by ensuring that veterans and their families can access the full range of benefits available to them, fighting for the interests of America’s injured heroes on Capitol Hill, providing employment resources to veterans and their families, and educating the public about the great sacrifices and needs of veterans transitioning back to civilian life. DAV, a nonprofit organization with more than 1 million members, was founded in 1920 and chartered by the U.S. Congress in 1932. Learn more at DAV.org.
