Providing sight and security
For someone who is blind or visually impaired and experiences poverty, a much-needed eye surgery is life changing. Or a new pair of glasses. Or vision technology. Lions Vision Services provides comprehensive eye care to South Carolina residents struggling with poverty. Staff members are constantly traveling across the state, whether to run a fundraising event or attend a seminar for learning to better serve their audience. By giving wheeled laptop backpacks as staff gifts for business travelers, countless conversations have been sparked about who they are and what they do.
