Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development Honors 4imprint® with Exemplary Employer Award
(OSHKOSH, Wis.)—Promotional products retailer 4imprint has been honored with an Exemplary Employer Award by the Department of Workforce Development (DWD) Division of Vocational Rehabilitation. This award recognizes 4imprint’s commitment to progressive employment practices that encourage, facilitate and inspire the full participation of people with disabilities.
“4imprint is honored to receive this award,” said Mary Curtin, SVP of Administration, 4imprint. “Working with the Department of Workforce Development has allowed us to expand our employment opportunities and make our team stronger. Our hope is that our positive experience will encourage other organizations to do the same.”
The award, presented at a ceremony at the Oshkosh company’s Distribution Center, coincides with National Disability Employment Awareness Month. According to the Department of Labor, National Disability Employment Awareness Month emphasizes “the essential role people with disabilities play in America’s economic success.”
The Wisconsin award, presented annually by the Governor, recognizes organizations that inspire the full workforce participation of people with disabilities.
