There are so many worthy causes that need help. This one is particularly touching.

Laura Belk and her husband adopted Kai at the age of four. Five years after bringing her home, she shows every sign that she is overcoming her traumatic past. “She is filled with love like no other,” Belk says. “She has energy and loves life in a way that no other child does. She is a smart little girl. Most people don’t believe she has Down syndrome.”
Belk’s transformative experience of adopting a Ghanaian child with Down syndrome inspired her to found Nurturing Nations, a nonprofit organization based in South Payson, Utah. Nurturing Nations is dedicated to rescuing children like Kai, building a children’s home and school, and changing cultural prejudices toward children with special needs. Its mission is to provide children safety, academic development and vocational skills so they can rise out of poverty.
As a recipient of a 4imprint® one by one® grant, Nurturing Nations ordered custom Cell Phone Power Banks as a donation incentive for its Raise The Roof campaign to build the school in Ghana. Upon completion, the building will house 50 at-risk children and provide 150 local children of all abilities an education to help end the cycle of poverty.
