Bring your own device, or BYOD, isn’t a beverage you bring to a party, it’s the latest trend in the workplace. You probably know the drill, employees come to work armed with their own smartphones, computers and tablets and want them to sync to your organization. It’s driven by the desire to have access to everything, when and where you want it. It blurs the line between personal and professional lives, and more and more, employees are bringing their own devices to get (and stay) linked into the corporation. And many companies are on board with the idea. According to research, 85 percent of organizations allow employees to bring their own devices to work.
