It’s beginning to happen and it’s exciting stuff!
When we launched this blog site we were hoping it would create yet another way for us to share ideas with you that beyond the typical, “hey, look at this deal” kind of thing you see so much of today.
We envisioned a place where we could share our knowledge and ideas with you, but where you could do the same with us and with other people just like you. In effect, a place where we can all work together to improve our organizations.
Here are a couple of great examples:
In a recent blog, our merchandising team pointed out the impact of the Nike ‘Swoosh’ during the 2005 Masters Tournament. If you get a chance to read it, notice the great bit of feedback offered up by a guest.
Sara (from our merchandising team) is soliciting feedback on a decision we’re making regarding our exclusive 4imprint Leisure Duffel. As you’ll see we’re getting feedback that will directly impact our decision.
Much has been written about blogs and their place in business. Here to stay? Fad soon to fade? Who knows what the future holds?
For now, it’s exciting to see the emerging collaboration and the free exchange of ideas – and we’d like to thank you for that!
