It’s Customer Service Week – time to recognize those who come to work each day with an aim to provide remarkable service.

Each year we like to have some fun during customer service week, and usually pick a theme to tie the celebration together. This year we are going back to a time when ‘decor’ meant shag carpet and harvest gold appliances, and polyester and facial hair said ‘style’. Combine all of that with a little disco, Captain and Tennille or the Doobie Brothers and you’ve got the makings of a groovy week.

Our Facilities Crew always gets things rolling by greeting folks at the door in full period costume as you can see in the photo below. They also set up a hip 1970’s living room complete with stylish chairs, lava lamp, MAD magazines and a classic tv (you can see me checking it out in the photo below I’m wearing a pretty good looking shirt that I think screams “1970”, if not it definitely screams something. Maybe ‘cover your eyes?’).

Anyway, to all the folks on our team ‘Happy Customer Service Week’! Thanks for all you do to treat our customers as we would like to be treated. And to all of you out there that work in the honorable profession of serving others – thank you!
