This post has to come with a ‘consider the source’ warning.

Obviously a promotional products guy blogging about a study commissioned by a promotional products industry association that extols the virtues of promotional products should be greeted a raised brow. However, I really do believe the kernel of the study is worthy of consideration (especially in a tight market).

Brandweek has posted a story regarding a new study by the Advertising Specialty Institute (ASI). It’s another study that shows the incredible effectiveness of promotional products.

When the economic news is nasty and marketing money is tough to come by, promotional products can provide great results – and great comfort. Promotional products make personal connections – and you’re in direct control of who you’re connecting with. You know where your budget money is going and who it’s being spent on.

Isn’t now the perfect time for that kind of thinking?
