Autumn is a golden opportunity to put your brand on fall fashion giveaways your customers, employees and prospects will love to wear. We checked in with Laurie, one of the apparel experts in 4imprint’s Merchandising Department, to learn the latest trends.

“From cozy cardigans and layering pieces to flannel and fleece, these items are the perfect transitional pieces to take you from summer into fall,” Laurie said.

Cuddle up with cozy plaids

“Nothing screams fall like plaid. A super-soft flannel, like the Roots73® Sprucelake Flannel Plaid Shirt, can be layered over a t-shirt for a casual look,” she said. “If an all-over plaid shirt isn’t for them, let the pattern peek out from the lining of an insulated jacket or vest and add a buffalo-check beanie to complete their look.” If you’re looking for a more subtle plaid, try the Roots73 Traillake Insulated Vest or Roots73 Gravenhurst Insulated Jacket, which feature a plaid lining. Your logo will look sharp on the front.

If you don’t want to deal with sizes, consider a festive blanket, like the Northwoods Plaid Blanket.  “A cozy blanket giveaway will warm them up at home or during those outdoor fall events,” Laurie said.

Go for layers

“A lightweight sweater or cardigan is an easy way to layer any outfit when a chill is in the air,” Laurie said. The Shawl Collar Open Sweater Cardigan is a super-soft blend of cotton, acrylic and nylon in a classic design. Or hand out the Bromley Wool Blend Knit V-Neck Knit Top for a look that works in the office or at the bonfire.

“For golf lovers, a moisture-wicking quarter-zip pullover can be layered over a polo to take their game well into fall and also protect them from the sun,” she said. The Greg Norman® Play Dry ¼-Zip Pullover is a classic choice that comes in men’s and ladies’ styles.

And when they need a little more warmth, try a convenient and stylish vest, like the Prevail Packable Puffer Vest. “A puffer vest will keep them warm when layered over a flannel or long-sleeve t-shirt, and easily folds down into its pocket, so it doesn’t take up much room in your bag,” Laurie said.

Try a classic option

“Fall is for football, fires and fleece. A newly branded sweatshirt is the perfect opportunity to show off your logo around the campfire, at a football game or when the weather is chilly but they’re just not ready yet for a jacket,” Laurie said. The Fruit of the Loom® Sofspun Crew Sweatshirt is lightweight and comes in eight fun colors.

Fall is also a great time to show off your team spirit. “A colorblock hoodie in your favorite team or brand colors or a varsity-inspired style provides a sporty look,” she added. The moisture-wicking Russell Athletic® Dri-Power Colorblock Raglan Hoodie helps keeps them cool and dry and looking good.

Be creative with jacket giveaways

What to do when it’s too cold for just a shirt but too warm for a jacket? Try a shirt that wears like a jacket, a shacket and has a casual look and a water-resistant shell for additional protection. The Cutter & Buck® Rainier Shirt Jacket has a nylon shell and taffeta insulation to keep them toasty warm.

“When the cool wind and rain hit, reach for a waterproof jacket or lightweight soft-shell jacket to provide resistance to the elements,” Laurie said. The classic Cascade Waterproof Jacket and Karmine Lightweight Soft Shell Jacket are great options.

Warm impressions for cool days

From blankets to jackets to plaid items, fall giveaways are sure to leave a warm impression on prospects, staff and customers.
