June 1st, 2011
June is named after Juno, the Roman goddess of marriage. In modern times, we still equate the month of June with weddings because of its popularity. The weather is mild, the days are long, and the air is warm, making it the ideal time to say “I do.”
Today is the first day of June, but you still have time to make the finishing touches for your summer wedding. If you still need some party favors and gifts, we’ve got some great affordable personalized options:
Imprint your monogram letter, your new last name or your wedding date on the earpieces of these custom fashion sunglasses. Offer as a party favor to each guest of your outdoor wedding. They start at less than $1 each and make for some entertaining wedding pictures!
These personalized maracas make the perfect noisemaker once they hear “kiss the bride.” Your wedding guests can even bring them out again during the reception music. The built-in keychain and bottle opener help keep your party going well past sundown. Such a fun keepsake for tropical destination weddings!
These heart-shaped hand fans could double as your program and party favor, and they’re a great fit for your wedding budget. And in June, in a hot stuffy church or building, they might just come in handy. We also have other great heart-shaped party favors to choose from.
From themed weddings to beach settings, let us help you find the perfect gifts to celebrate your nuptuals!

Leave it to LEGO®!
A while back, I attended the International Consumer Product Health and Safety Organization’s 2010 Annual Conference. The conference brings together everyone who is involved in and concerned about consumer and product safety for the products they sell. Many of your favorite retailers and toy brands, such as Walmart and Hasbro, attend, as do several promotional products companies.
LEGO was one of the sponsors and created the coolest key chain giveaway for attendees.
The conference name and date is imprinted on a flat-fronted LEGO piece. A second LEGO block is also on the key chain. The two pieces can be snapped together, which makes it a good giveaway for a tactile audience. As promotional products go, this was something that I haven’t seen before and isn’t normally available for sale in this way – for me that made a nice change!
