4imprint Announces $57,000 in Gifts to Nonprofits in First Half of 2011
(OSHKOSH, Wis.) – Through its one by one™ philanthropic giving program, promotional products retailer 4imprint donated $57,000 in-kind to more than 114 nonprofit organizations and charities throughout the United States and Canada in the first two quarters of 2011.
In the spirit of 4imprint’s commitment to customers and community, the one by one program aims to help deserving charities boost awareness for their organizations, reach customers, promote events, thank key audiences and much more through $500 in-kind donations of promotional products. The program also offered many donations of free product samples to community organizations to use to further their cause.
“Our hope is that the one by one program has a ‘multiplier effect’ for these important organizations. The promotional items we give them are put to good use to raise funds, thank staff, or raise awareness, all of which generates impact well beyond the value of the products themselves,” explains Kevin Lyons-Tarr, 4imprint president. “We look forward to partnering with many more nonprofits to do the same in the months and years ahead.”
4imprint is still accepting applications for its 2011 one by one program online at http://onebyone.4imprint.com. Any 501(c) 3 organization, registered Canadian charity, school or religious organization is encouraged to apply. Interested organizations are asked that applications be submitted a minimum of two (2) months before items will be needed for use. This allows time for applications to be processed and products to be delivered in time for scheduled events.
